Have you ever been so engrossed in a book that you were unaware that someone walked into the room? That’s hypnosis. You were so focused on the book to the exclusion of everything else around you. Hypnosis is simply focused concentration and attention.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE HYPNOTIZED?
Most people feel very relaxed. While in hypnosis, you are in complete control at all times. The experience is similar to a twilight state between sleep and awake, when the brain waves start to slow down.
WILL I LOSE CONTROL IN HYPNOSIS?
No, you won’t lose control or get stuck in hypnosis. You won’t be asked to cluck like a chicken or bark like a dog. A hypnotherapist cannot make you say or do anything you wouldn’t normally do.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DOES IT TAKE?
It depends on your goals and your suggestibility. Some people see results in a couple or a few sessions and others see improvement over time.
HOW DO YOU SEE CLIENTS?
Currently through Zoom. Clients have found that on-line sessions are just as effective as in-person.
